These are more characters produced with in illustrator. i have drawn them initially on paper then scanned them in and traced them using the pen tool. i am very happy with the out come of my character as i feel its important for the animation. i didn't want a really plain boring character. it is very simple in terms of color but i think this works well for the animation. i don't think they would look good with color, this wouldn't be allowed in the brief and it is kind of fitting with the good for you approach of natural fizz. a bit like bot drinks and vitamin water they tend not to go over board with use of color.
I thought expression was important so paid attention to that both facially and also with body language.
he has more detail for example a paint roller in his hand. he also has a pen in his pocket and little elbow pads on his clothing.
This is my professor paint character. he is based on the same style as the others only more crazy! i wanted him to be entertaining to look at.
